Dynamic Hair

If you've enabled dynamic hair and wondered "what the hell are these duplicate meshes" well I'm here to teach you how to use them today. Before we begin take note that these are really only mean to be used on skins when the hair texture runs down the body, though with enough effort can be used for whatever you want.
To begin make sure that Dynamic Hair is enabled under Style > Rig Style
Next, click on the hair strand of your choice and enter edit mode and local view Numpad
"/" (By Default)
, you can either do one at a time or multiple, for this tutorial we will do one at a time.
Select all of the faces of the hair as so, invert your selection Ctrl + I (By Default)
and delete the faces.
Afterwards select your entire mesh and extrude it out by whatever value you want.
Next we will fix the subdivision by going into edge select mode and then using the Select > Select Sharp Edges
button, then changing the mean crease to 1 and marking the edges sharp Ctrl + E (By Default)
.
