The next step is to set up materials for the rig, this process isn't complicated but can be time consuming, however, the result is extremely satisfying and worth it.
We're going to start by changing the eyes, to begin go to the Materials > Eyes
tab and you will see a ton of options you can mess around with. The rig comes with a complex eye material built in, however, if you wish to change it to a PNG you may.
We're going to be changing the eyes to a completely new style using the built in material.
Starting off we're going to change the eyes to a yellow-ish green color for demonstration.
After which we're going to change the specular and roughness values to make them look reflective. We're also going to disable the sparkle and rescale the pupil.

If you wish to use gradient eyes or textures eyes you can swap with the settings here:
Next we'll be changing a few other materials to make our character look unique.
First we will start by giving them slightly different eyewhites and custom eyebrows.
We could keep changing settings but we won't need to for our use, however, if you want to read a full documentation about this panel of the rig, go here.
