Downloading the Rig

Instructions on how to properly download, install, and update Ice Cube

Downloading

• Grab a copy of the rig from Ice Cube Carrd

• Move the .zip file you downloaded somewhere temporary (DO NOT UNZIP IT)

Installation

• In Blender, open your addon preferences by going to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons

• Click the Install button in the top right corner and locate the ice_cube.zip file you've downloaded

• After installing click the checkbox to enable the addon!

Updating

Updating the rig can be problematic if done incorrectly so follow the steps below carefully

Built-in Updater (RECOMMENDED)

• On the Ice Cube UI navigate to the system settings Advanced > System

• Open the Update Manager category

• Run the Check For Updates button and wait

• If there are updates available, click the Install Update button and wait

• Once it has finished it will give you a popup, restart Blender and you'll be on the newest version of Ice Cube!

Manual

• Under your addon preferences in Blender Edit > Preferences > Add-ons

• Search for Ice Cube or sort the category by Lilo's Rigs

• Once you've found the addon, click the checkbox to disable it and then expand the menu.

• Click Remove

• Restart Blender

• Restart the downloading guide and follow it again
